Focus™ DTT 2M

DTT can be used to reduce disulfide bridges, protect biomolecules, prepare samples, and denature proteins for electrophoresis. Focus DTT is ideal for protein reduction with its 2M concentration.

Focus DTT 2M is provided as vials containing Proteomics Grade DTT to maintain the activity of the reducing agent. Before use, add 0.8 mL of distilled water to the vial to achieve a 2M concentration. Many molecular biology applications call for 0.2M DTT. To achieve this concentration, dilute 100 µL of the Focus DTT 2M vial.

DTT is often used alongside Urea and CHAPS for optimal protein sample preparation. bioWORLD offers everything necessary for SDS-PAGE.
